[FONT=arial, helvetica]Morning all,

I'm going to leave it a week before I Autotrader this car as I'd like it to go to an enthusiast if poss. It's also going into a garage this week to have a rear damper replaced :nod: (EDIT: NOW FIXED AND WORKING FINE)

Are you sitting comfortably. Then I shall begin:

Unfortunately the time has come for me to part with my S14A. It's been less than a year but sadly I need to release some fundage and get something diesel powered for the daily commute. It's a great shame as I hunted high and low for this one before buying it. It was exactly what I was after, the right colour, the right gearbox and the right headlights! It drives fantastically and at this time of the year the air con is a godsend:smitten:

The car is completely standard. I was running Apex coilovers but it's now back on standard suspension. I've kept the Apex rose jointed camber arms on though if you did want to lower it ;) The car was 4 wheel laser alignment this Saturday at Elite (with printout to prove).

The car was bought my me at pretty much dead on 60K from a car place north of London and had just had a major service at Glynn Hopkins Nissan. I changed the oil for some Silko Pro S at about 63K. It's now showing 67 and a bit on the clock. I also ran it through a laptop with the Nissan software on it and it came out error free. We also checked the timing at the same time and it was spot on (15 degrees if I remember correctly).

The interior is in great condition with hardly any wear to the driver's side leather. The previous owners must have weighed a lot less than me! It also has Nissan floor mats front & rear.

The car's been used for my daily commmute and has proved utterly reliable. I also treated it to a Megs 3 stage paint treatment a month or two ago. The car took me to Le Mans this year as well without a hitch.

The best bits: :D

I have replaced the turbo gaskets (about 65K I think it was at) so you've got 60K miles of trouble free motoring without any blowage! As any S14 owner will testify this is a common problem and will affect all examples sooner or later. It's a complete :furious: of a job but it's all done now. I also did a coolant flush at the same as most of the old stuff ended up on the garage floor anyway! :wack: The turbo is also in good nick with minimal play.

Also, the front calipers were rebuilt a few weeks ago with new seals and a bleed through.

Stereo:

Being a bit of an ICE nerd I removed the old stero which is, it has to be said, pitiful. I still have the head unit and the old speakers for what they're worth. I will be removing all the ICE I have put in it unless you want to pay extra for it but I'd want about £800+ as I'm not fussed about selling it. (Details of ICE on request) If you did want to put your own headunit in it let me have it and I'll put it in when I take mine out as it's a bit of a mission compared to other cars :nod:

I have completely sound deadened each door with 2 and a half rolls of Dynamat Extreme and the rear three quarter panels have got a roll each plus a load of loft insulation. The result is a rattle free car which is also a lot quieter (S14's suffer from a lot of road noise from the back, particularly in the rain). The doors also shut now with a real Germanic coachbuilt clunk. All the ICE is completely removable as I haven't hacked up anything to install it.

One last thing; it has a folder full of receipts and bills. And I'll be keeping the boost gauge and putting the ash tray back in.
