This is NOT my car. Advertising for a mate of mine!
"The car is a very clean example and solid in all the usual problem areas. There are signs of a little corrosion at the bottom of the tailgate but its not bad. The front arches have been rolled and this has cracked the paint...see pic below...but the arches front and rear are solid. Bottoms of all the doors are mint. Very very clean shell indeed.
shows as 316 on log book so cheap to insure (if you dont tell them lol)
classic car insurance on this one so its as cheap as chips
I will be putting the standard steering wheel back on as i changed it over to a removable one (dodgy hip , easier for me to get in and out)
manufacture date 27/02/1993
taxed till May 2012
tested till 18th October 2012
electric windows/mirrors (working)
central locking (not working)
clock shows 130k
engine is sound and runs sweet.
gearbox is nice and gear change is very good (M3 short shift linkage)
drives well and is fast and pointy into corners.
The guy i bought it off was preparing it for his son to drift. He owned a garage and built race cars and restored old sunbeams.
His son has decided he wants to drift a 540 instead so this car hasnt been used in anger as far as i can tell and from what he said. Its way too clean to have done any drifting anyway.
