For sale is my 1998 BMW 318is MTEC (factory) finished in Techno Violet. It has covered 139,500 miles, with service stamped history up to 100,000. The owner before me is a family friend (who owned it from 110,000-130,000) he serviced the car twice a year himself (being a mechanic). Since then I have carried out a service (also being a mechanic). The car was first registered in August 1998. It has tax until 31/10/11 and Mot until 31/11/11. Other key information about the car as follows;
Full factory fitted MTEC body kit.
Black/Blue half leather interior (one small hole on rear right seat)
Original MTEC steering wheel and gear knob all in leather.
Original MTEC door strips.
MTEC BLACK headlining.
MTEC suspension.
Clear lenses all round.
Lowered on springs 15mm at the front and 30mm at the rear.
Stainless full cat back system and de-cat pipe (However cat included).
Alpine head unit.
Alpine rear parcel shelf speakers, with plain black mesh covers making them seem standard.
Brake lines replaced two years ago.
Induction kit.
Metal stamped number plates.
HPI clear.
This is a very good example, reliable, non rattley and non-smoky. Disks and pads have plenty of life left. There are some old receipts for work done and parts. A negative point of the car is that the rear arches have a very very small amount of bubbling but hardly noticeable. There are a few small scratches and marks but very reasonable bearing its age in mind. I am selling due to wanting a larger car and I will be sad to see it go. It's one of the cleanest e36's around.
