why is this 328 covered in 'M' badges ?

Well my guess (and its title suggests) it's an M-Tec hence the M badges!!!! - I used to have an M-Tec beemer and mine was was the same.

The key is to see what the V5 says - if it doesnt say Sport be cautious as i'm sure only sports became the MTecs as it was all optional kit on the Sport models - but i could be wrong

headlining and a-post, b-post and d-post finishers were all black cloth on the sport models, that interior (seats) is from a M3 EVO,
