Hey guys,

Just thought id post up my drift project.. After being taken out and having the great pleasure to slide my friends e36 BMW at Buxton, I have taken the plunge into buying a car to take sideways!

It must have been fate as this gem of a car has come up for cheap and I couldnt say no..

R reg, BMW 523i - which I have just got through an MOT which is breezed through!

The car is completely standard! unlike any BMW of the age, EVERYTHING on the interior works, electrics, windows, aircon etc.. feels sacrilegious to break her up to become a slide mobile..

Mostly all the interior parts will be for sale as I won't be needing them.

Phase 1:
Weight loss...

Phase 2:
Seats+Harnesses

Phase 3:
Welded Diff.

Phase 4:
Try not to hit the wall...

If anyone has any tips or hints with this car let me know please as I haven't seen many of these taken sideways.. will keep you all posted..

nothing besides the strand seat time seat time seat time. more seat time=better skids

aye thats true, the car itself seems and feels solid, so no worries mechanically, flew through her MOT :) can't wait to get skidding and improving! always more to learn! caught the bug!
