I would kill for one of these to pimp around in. unfortunately I am in minus monies and in no position to buy. :wack: free bump for a mighty car.

Cheers Guys,

the best bit is I'll take £1450 !!! :dw:

Around town with No Motorway mileage I get 217 miles on £50 and thats @102.9p / ltr

just worked it out, £50 at 102.9 a litre is 10.679 Gallons

Thats 20.32 Miles Per gallon all around town

When I took my E30 318iS in for work at a BMW specialist, I asked them what an E38 735 would do to the gallon, and they said on average 17 around town to 28ish on a run. V8 low down torque makes a big difference.

Small price for a big car :worthy:

Thats tried and tested too, as soon as the fuel light came on i put £50 in it, then as soon as it came on again i read the mileage so its quite accurate.

You can drive it without going over 2500 rpm very very easily

Bought a minty one of these for my dad, exact same thing but in a lovely blue, for £1600 a few months ago. Bargainous luxury motoring.

Not really a drift car though. ;)

I'd be so tempted by this if I didn't have shit all around me....

Pretty good anyway chip, ~30mpg on a run out of my dads.

= 16p a mile

on LPG = sub 10p a mile

I do a LOT of miles, so to me thats a massive difference, but fair enough, depends on what you use it for yourself.

Personally if my daily driver goes over 10p a mile, I start sweating even more than is normal for a fat bloke like myself.

Yeah I know, but LPG kits are wank unless you buy an expensive multipoint one, and the goverment subsidy for LPG ends soon doesn't it? Or my 735i would have lpg already, but I don't think I can save enough money in time for it to make sense. I average about 17mpg. It sucks.

Motorways aren't too bad, but I do drive a LOT, fuel eats my wages fasssst.

The tax freeze ends soon I think, but when it does they are only meant to be introducing more tax gradually anyway, like a few pence a year, so its not going to suddenly jump to similar price to petrol as far as im aware.

Ive used a single point successfully, but I agree the multipoint ones are better.
