BMW and Rota??

I went for Rotas purely because I was going to have to pay top dollar for low offset and wide(ish) BBS or other DDM rims..
Normaly i drive on 17" OEM BMW/BBS styling 42 II rims but for drifting they are to heavy. In 17" they are about 10kg a wheel without the tire. So i was wondering if there where some lighter wheels in 5x120.
I also can use a spacer from 5x120 to 5x114.3 so i can put on some nice Rota's.

If you don't care about offset too much or simply have spacers in hand, I'd go for the Kosei K1. They come as 7.50kg each, which is quiet amazing to be honest and pretty much make sense now why all E36 track guys use them.
I've got Ren's wheels, for those who remember black with a yellow strip, Mim's 16x8J and surprisingly they are kinda heavy coming at 9.5kg each. Of course the price difference in super light weight wheels is big, but choice for dish, offset, and most importantly styling, is not so much available.

No, no you've got it right with the spacers. Offset of 40 and 25mm spacers make it ET15, but I would try to avoid spacers as much as possible. First because they are expensive, second because essentric spacers are very expensive (*the lip the wheel rest on) and third because I've heard people managed to snap them off at drift days. Oh and actually I forgot a 4th disadvantage and that is having to buy longer wheel nuts.
This is why I like deep dish wheels, they look fantastico and the low offset saves you money on spacers. If they could make lightweight deep dish then it would be better but doubtfully cheap. I avoid BBS because of pricing.
On the other hand you are in Holland? Try to check what Kerscher, Borbet, or my favorite brand Brock are like on the german ebay.

I was wrong because i would have taken a ET15 wheels with a 25mm spacer and that would make ET40 I thought but noway it's gonna be ET-10.
I gonna need the spacers because i bought the stearingrack spacers for more lock and with that you need a min of 20mm wheelspacers for not rubbing the chassis urly.
