hi all,new to this site and hoping some of you guys can solve a problem ive had for 3 months, i have an e30 tourer with a 2.8 m52 engine with a 1.8is rad header tank on side of rad, i have noticed a few guys that do drifting run this exact same set up,my problem is that the water temp gets hot very quick, i have changed rads twice one being brand new, put a bmw steel impeller water pump, bmw thermostat with a 4mm hole drilled to expell air, jacked front of car right up and bled it 7 times, definitely do not have a air pocket issue, have also drained all water out and had it vacuumed and force fed water back in, have also flushed whole system very clean no crap coming out, still gets hot very quick, done compression test, oxygen test, dye test all good no probs now to give you an example from cold in morning drive 1 mile and temp has hit 100c, drive it quick, half a mile and it has reached 100c, i have a 220 watt electric fan on front and with it on from cold can get another half mile, have also changed gauge and sensor still the same, i have been doing more checks and found out that this set up takes ten and half litres of coolant total, i can only get six litres total in system, no matter what i do or how many times i try it wont take more than six litres coolant is circulating fine no blockages heater working well so guys sorry to come on here and burden you all with this but i am now going down suicide route, but on checking other guys with same set up they get ten litre's in any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks rm3
