Hi there folks, my first post on here, but i have been lurking for months, just reading and trying to learn! basically im just bored, im fed up, so i fancy a change of car, something RWD of the same nature as this preferrably!

Here goes;

frontleft0001.jpg

1989 BMW E30 316i.

Ive owned this car since before the summer and it has never missed a beat once! the motor has been 100% reliable and the body is straight as a die, never been painted or accident damaged, it really is one of the cleanest E30's about in my honest opinion, a very good example.

I feel it would be a sin to rip this car to bits, spec it up and drift it, but thats not my choice to make, this would suit a young, new driver who wants a bit of RWD fun now and then.

Spec:

Engine:
1.6ltr 8v - very insurance friendly, im 18 with no NCB nad im circa £800 p/y to insure! (remember its RWD aswell can't beat it)
Pipercross panel filter
Etech stainless steel oil cap

Exterior:
Authentic 14" BBS lattice wheels
iS rear lip spoiler
German style number plates

Interior:
Longmill CD headunit
Full replacement leather trim in excellent condition
M-Tech 2 steering wheel

I have reciepts for over £500 for this car, this includes a recent full service, with diff and gearbox oils changed along with usual service items.
The car has new brake discs and pads up front, with new brake shoes and cylinders at the back, aswell as a full set of new brakelines, a job thats notoriously costly and time consuming, that should never need done again!
The power steering gaitor was replaced along with the o/s suspension are, bush and balljoint.

The car has covered 126k miles, which may sound alot, but is still technically less than it should have done if we take an average of 10k miles p/y and has a good amount of service history, aswell as the fact it will be sold with 6 months tax and 7 months MOT.

Im in no hurry to sell the car as its done me no wrong. If i dont get the asking price or close to it, it'l be staying and no doubt have more money spent on it!

Will try and get some more up to date pictures asap.

Im willing to listen to any offers of a P/X or straight swap (cars of same style preffered old fords/retro/rwd stuff). If not, the asking price is £800 oVno! viewings are more than welcome, the car is located in Scotland, south of Glasgow. Please leave a message here or drop me a PM.

Id like to think anyone thats seen the car will agree its a very tidy example of a 316i!

Any questions please feel free to ask. Tah for looking

Buy this, a solid shell, then spend a few hundred on a 325i engine, and they go together like gary glitter and that wee fella from coronation street.. chesney or summit? :D

coincidentally i have a 2.5 engine and box and ecu for sale...so buy this chaps car and then buy my stuff.. bit of spannering and swearing later, and you'll be officially cool
