Hello Boys and Girls,
I need to sell my 520 very quickly..
I can either strip it out or put back in passangers seat and all the covers for the boot.
BMW e34 520 SE 1991 (J reg) calipsorot-metallic
Engine is 2.0 24V, short gearbox. Pulls really nice. You can take out the engine and put in a different car or just keep the whole car as the body is in really good nick - no rust at all, all electric mirrors/windows/sun roof work without any problems
Fuel economy: when driving nicely and slowly its around 30mpg. When driving above 100 all the time it does 100miles on fuel for 20gbp
Bad bits: small play on the steering wheel, some "!$(*&^ parked in rear left doors (I pulled it out, but there are still scratches on the paint) and in the bumper, tyres would need to be changed, one of the rear wheels lost its balance and vibrates when driving around 60 (doesnt do it below or above 60), synchronizer of the 2nd gear didn't exist when I bought it (you can shift to 2nd gear with no problems, you just have to know what rpm engine has to have at certain speed), fan clutch and sparks/spark plugs may need changing. No tax, mot, battery (the one which was in the car I had to throw out as it was totally flat).
Right now there is only driver seat in, but I can put two seats with armrests in it.
Reason for sale - I dont have any space to keep it anymore
For a 10er I can leave JVC kd-s6080 45x4 cd/radio in it, for another 10er two 550W ProAudio speakers.
It has been filled up in Shell garage for 20gbp, so you should be able to drive at least 100 miles in it
BM is in Tamworth if anyone would like to come and see it. Can be started and driven (on your own risk as it has no mot/tax) - always startes up first time, never let me down.
Its a great car and for 200gbp... can you go wrong?
