Need to sell my Tow Car/Daily Drifter within the next few weeks as i wont have room for it soon!
A little about the car.. 1991 M50 24v engined (one of the better BMW engines) 525i, 160,000 miles, lots of history, MOT till February, Tax till November. The bodywork is tatty in places (the odd ding and paint) but the car is very solid and hasnt missed a beat since ive owned it, towed me to every event easily and safely. Pretty decent MPG, around 25-30mpg towing and very comfortable. Bought as a stock car with cloth interior, ive spent a little time working on it to make it look and feel better.
The good bits:
Solid underneath
New Suspension (KW/Weitec Shocks and Springs)
New Wheels (17" BBS 17x8.5 ET13)
New Front Brakes (Pads and Discs)
Black Leather seats, Sport Front seats and Perforated Leather Door Cards
Cheesy Smoked Corner Lamps
Alpina Splitter
Mtec II Steering Wheel
M6 Gearknob
New Numberplates
New Water Pump + Belt
Plenty of Service History
New Plugs, Oil and Filter
Needed only ARB drop links to pass last MOT
CD Player
Full Working Electrics and Dual Heaters
Spare wheel and Original Tool Kit present
Exhaust Baffles have come out. Sounds cool.
Comes with a spare Diff if you wish to weld it up and turn it into a drifter!
The bad bits:
Bodywork as mentioned before is a bit tatty in places, the odd knock and mark.
OBC throws up random faults, mainly when the lights are turned on (break light, lic. plate light etc when they are actually working, pretty sure another light loom would cure this)
Uses a bit of oil, mainly when towing. I check it once a week, its sound. Doesnt appear to burn any though, no smoke.
