bmw e36 320 first drift day

right guys got a 320 with welded diff, 4mm rack spacer and coilover and set of seat and harness. first drift day coming up soon. what things should i think about taking so far ive got a list of:
wheels and tyres
helmet
low entry jack
small tool kit from halfords
battery gun for quick changes

what else would i need?

being a 320i its going to have a hard time so my advise is to whip the bonnet off to keep it cool and make sure the cooling system is up to scratch! last thing you want to do is cook it!

I always take my bonnet off, keeps the temps down nicely instead of fucking about

i found yesterday that whacking the heating on full it keeps the temps down. But you cook in the car!

If it has a standard working viscous fan with cowl it should be fine. Flush the rad with a hose and replace the coolant. A new water pump and thermostat would be good for it too.

I also used to run without my bonnet but new driftland rules ment I had to make it work. I fitted a standard fan cowl and the car ran fine. I have a duct from the passenger footwell heater vent to the boot to chuck excess heat away too.

The car is standard engine bay wise. All standard fan and cowling. Got 60psi in the rear atm but struggles a bit doing streeto but I'm assuming carry the speed round pod will be easier.

right so little update got e46 inch wheels on now so got the 15s for skidding on. 70psi seems to have helped a lot just got some other bit to fit and we shall be ready
