bmw e36 using oil

Hi I m having concerns about me 328 drift car. I use a couple of times a week barely do 400 miles a month but every couple of weeks I have to top up the oil cos its down on the minimum line. Keep checking and searching for leaks but can't find any and its been running sweet, not over heating or anything. You only thing it does is stall when pulling up after its been running or driven hard for a while. Like as soon as it drops to idle it doesn't catch just switches off and stalls. But starts up straight away everytime first time.

Hope these problems aren't serious. Doing the matchams drift evening In a couple of weeks so wanna sort these issues ASAP.

Any blue smoke fronm the exhaust? Also check for a restriction in the breather pipes.

No blue smoke, no gooo on oil cap or dip stick and not using any water

Just keep running it til it dies then if it's just a drifter. Could be Nikasil problems causing porous bore liners thus oil burning past piston rings. Normally causes running problems too though.
