Thought I add my other car to the forum since the winter almost only comes to drive and prepare the E46.

Bought as a standard 328 -99 and used very shortly as a daily.
It's nice to have a company car so you can beat the shit out of it but still be able to go to work the next day.

From the pickup day.

Started to mod by adding a hydro e-brake.
I've also fitted a shortshift and made my own knob in POM plastic.

We had some snow in the late 2018.
The last couple of winters has not been very generus with snow.
Also fitted the roof mounted LED-bar so you could see something.

Tried my luck when I was using it as a daily on some ice patchy road.
Low speed but the ditch was very deep. :D

In October 2019 I took the car to a friends garage a weekend to reinforce the attachment points of the rear subframe.
It was a lot easier to get access to everything.

We swapped the really bad original clutch to a 6-puck sintered disc together with a m20 flywheel and sachs 618 replica pressure plate.
Continued with the rear subframe and changing all of the bushings to Strongflex yellow and ended with welding the reinforcement plates to the chassis.

The car is very rusty due to the swedish salted roads unfortunately but it will have to live as long as it can.

Some time ago I decided to get some more steering angle and installed the adapters from a local manufacturer in Sweden.
Had to run fairly low ET to make clearence for the wheel to scrub.

Went to make an alignment and when I was about to back off the trailer I heard some noises.
It's a great idea to remove the wheel stops before backing off the trailer. :)

Ice drifting premiere behind the wheel for me.
This was last year in the end of January.

So much fun and a lot of grip with the studded tyres. :D

It has been some driving during 2022 and 2023 winters and time has come for more upgrades on the rusty E46.
I've started to converting to M50 intake manifold.

However I would need some help from the people with RHD cars.
I have an idea of using the throttle cable from a rhd car with the factory TB.
Do you guys have like a central for parting out companies where you can seach and contact them?
Or do somebody actually do part out a 320i/323i/328i and are able to sell me the cable, please contact me soon :D
