For sale is my 2006 335i M Sport Touring automatic.
After having 2 no shows from winning bidders on ebay, thought I'd see if anyone here would be interested.
The car has just rolled over 200,000 miles, but is still running very well and the majority of this has been motorway mileage. When I purchased the car at the end of 2019, I fully overhauled the suspension, fitting a full set of Hardrace adjustable rear control arms, Superpro motorsport radius and control arms up front and HSD coilovers all round. I then took it to Northampton Motorsport for corner weighting and wheel alignment.
Earlier this year the back end felt a little weird and crashy, on further inspection, one of the rear HSD springs had collapsed and one of the shocks had let all its fluid out. So I replaced the HSDs with BC Coilovers and vowed never to buy HSDs again, as they had only covered around 15k... RUBBISH!!! I still have the old HSDs which I'll include in the sale with a replacement shock, just need a replacement spring and you could probably sell them on for a few £££
The wheels were refurbished around 6 months ago and wrapped in fresh Pilot Sport 5's.
Service history up to 176k, then did all servicing myself except for the last service which was professionally carried out in May this year. New brake pads all round in October as this was an advisory on its MOT on 28th September.
MOT Due 28/09/24
Transmission fluid and filter replaced in Sept 2020.
The previous owner installed performance air filters and an aftermarket intercooler. I believe the car may have been remapped at some point before I took ownership.
Engine had new injectors and was walnut blasted at 172k.
The body work has a few age related blemishes in places, but generally its in good condition. Most notably, it has some corrosion on the inside of the boot hatch.

The interior is in really good condition, especially for its age and the mileage its covered. BMW iDrive system is fully functional.
The car does occasionally have an intermittent misfire on cold start, but this clears after a minute, and a slight oil leak from the engine.
I have lots of old invoices for parts that I’ve fitted myself and other work that has been carried out before my ownership.
The car is still in daily use so the mileage will increase.
I'm open to sensible offers.
Car is located in Hemel Hempstead.
I've relisted it on ebay as a classified for £4000, but for a quick sale I'd take £3500.
