Thought I better start my own thread for these.
Have for sale a set of King Split rims in 5x120 16x9 Et8 all round with stretched 19/45/16 Maxxis tyres which have had 2 weeks use. I bought these with the intention to fit them to an E36 or E28 but I have decided to go more retro with my E28 instead.
The rims would benefit from a good clean and a proper polish to the rims with some abrasive compound of some sort. One has been started and looks much better than in the above photos which I will add a picture of asap.
They apparently just fit on a stock E36 with coilies due to the stretch. See below for pics. They're pretty damn light and look fantastic with about 4inches of dish allround. I will measure this weekend.
Hopefully Alex won't mind me linking his old pics as I haven't yet been able to fit these to a car, but his 36 looked sweet with them;
Other pics and old thread is here http://www.driftworks.com/forum/parts-sale-private-sales/127127-5x120-king-split-rims-16x9-et8.html
I will add pics of my own this weekend but the wheels have not been used and stored inside since I bought them so have not changed in condition at all.
I will take the following in E28 parts in part exchange;
chrome rear bumper
LSD
aftermarket steering wheel hub for 1985 model.
Otherwise £450 ovno (the 'v' stands for 'very' in case you are none the wiser meaning no usual stupid offers ) collected on weekends from Farnham in Surrey.
Feel free to arrange your own courier collection for them (again at the weekend only as I tend not be around weekdays until late), but I don't have time to arrange to/and post and certainly won't at my expense.
Please PM or call 07816 390 568 if serious as I don't get on here much.
If I've missed any info let me know.
Regards,
nic.
