Boost gauge woes

My boost gauge had been playing up since yesterday, and stopped working today...
Opened the bonnet and somehow the line has come lose and was resting on the exhuat manifold and had completey burnt through!!! and was still smoking
At least I know where the air leak has been coming from

..oh well another job for the weekend haha

Bit of a shitter mate. Not as bad as my day. A Skyline head fell on my hand today and i cant use my hand now. Then at lunch decided to have a look at the plugs in the s14 and its pretty obvious the car has been run lean for a long period of time (not by me thou). Did a compression test and cylinder 3 is only at 80psi. Bollocks! Fingers crossed will just be a leaking head gasket in which case ill wack in a nice 1.2mm one. If its anything more serious then i will not be happy.
