braided lines for hydro handbrake

Beauty Purr!
im trying to fit some of your braided lines to a friends s14a and they dont appear to fit, i can only get half a turn before it just locks solid. do you only supply the lines with one fitting, or could these be the wrong lines for a nissan?

i undone the pipe from the little joiner/box thing thats bolted to the chassis rail just under the master cylinder. that will only go half a turn screwing onto the braided line then just locks solid.

do your braided lines only come with one thread pitch on the end? or do you supply different ones for different cars?

Um, not the clearest description so I'm struggling a little. It sounds like you're trying to screw the male steel brake line fitting into the female part of the braided line?

The braided lines use the male-male adaptors, which then thread into a female point of the car's braking system, so you could go direct to the master cylinder, ABS unit output, or the output from that block.

Personally, if you're fitting a hydraulic handbrake I'd ditch the abs and run it straight out of the master cylinder.

I hope that long winded answer helps you work it out. :)

the stuff i was suplied with was 2nd hand, there was male to mae connectors already screwed into the handbrake cylinder, 2 hoses and 2 90 degree bends. i figured the male to males went in the handbrake cylinder as thats where they were when i was given it, am i thinking wrong?

also the abs will be getting ditched when it goes in.

ive just spoke to my mate whos fitted his one and appears im missing some bits, should there be 4 connectors like the ones on the right in the photo below

and 2 right angle ones?

would you be able to suply just the fittings without the lines? ive tryed muliple car spare places within a 30mile radius and had no luck. can you guys help??

No. Like I said earlier I don't have any and you need to go to a hydraulics supplier.
We only have kits, and I'm not breaking one up.

It was me that phoned earlier and you were bloody useless on the phone. A part number would have been great, description of the bit i needed, or even something helpful.
I was trying to give you money for something. Upsell.
Source the part for me and add commission or something lol.

Not just "Go to B&Q, and ask for male to male connecters"

You could lie because you lack the intelligence to find some simple fittings.

I told you what to get and where to go - I DON'T have any to sell you!!!!!

I cant give you a part number, for a generic part, thats like saying "whats the part number for a wheel bolt".

Being called "useless and un-helpful" is pretty annoying, knowing how much I/we do to help everyone out.

im not after a part number, im after that thread size and what not they are, there are many different types of thread, i cant just go for a lucky dip
