Got the kit through, and set about fitting it yesterday.
Although it says "SR20DET for s13/s14/s15", only 2 of the 3 hoses fitted to my s13? (redtop ps13).
The water feed that goes round the back of the head, must be different on s14 SR's right? As the hose supplied in the kit has two banjo unions either end, where as on my redtop, one end is a banjo into the turbo, and the other goes into a hose round the back of the head somewhere. So I couldnt fit it.
I think this should be mentioned in the product description, as ive had to leave the shitty metal water feed in there for the time being as I need the car on the road!
The oil line and the water return fit ok (although were still a ballache to get the banjos in!), but I take it I needed an s13 water feed hose, as opposed to the s14 one? Just a bit misleading, as I assumed it would be ok if I got the "SR20DET for s13" lines.
Those banjos really get on my tits though, luckily I had two wham bars to calm me down whist trying to get the bastards in. Was hoping braided lines would make fitting a doddle, leaving everything loose didnt help much, it just made it a pain the ass going round nipping everything up with barely any room!
Is there anything I can do with this s14 water feed line to get it to work with my redtop?
