bucket seat and rails...

wanted to fit my sparco corsa and pro2000 with bride FG-rails today and now there are at least 2problems...

1st it´s a fooking tight fit
2nd my seat is off centre to the steering wheel :wack: and way too close to the door. i dont think that i´ll be able to fit a cage in between...

certainly others must have had those probs, just couldnt find any solutions...

you tried wiggling it on the rail without the bolts being tight?
 
Try rotating the rails 180 degrees so instead of pointing _l l_ they point l_ l_
or _l _l or l_ _l till you get a reasonable fit/position.
Did mine last night, it was a bastard and a half, but its perfect now.

Cool, which seat you get matey? Any pics of it in the Carlton? :)
 
dunno if rotating will work.
the seat´s supposed to sit between the rails to be as low as poss.

putting it on the rails would mean it´s about 2cm higher - it´s already too high for my liking. will be worse when i get the cage.

i´ll give it a try tomorrow...
