This is a direct copy from the event. I go up every month. Its no where near as busy as it used to be and loads of seat time! Endless amounts! The event is now run by Buxton Raceway itself. And basically its £40 to drive, £20 to be a passenger or £10 to be a spectator.

I will be up their as usual in my E36 V8 so who else is game? and before ppl start saying its a car killer or too difficult for newbies... i started their! I run my V8 E36 their now and yes if you push past your limits their is a wall to be aware of but its a cheap weekend out. Chill out atmosphere and loads of seat time.

The next weekend of drifting up at Buxton Raceway is Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June.

It's £10 to get in per day, still £10 to be a passenger per day, and £30 to drive per day. (Tyre changes are now included but more info will follow on this after last meeting)

Hello. I will definitely be going down to watch for a few hours, hopefully out on the track before the year finishes if I get myself a car sorted. Might even get confident and ask a few people some advice.

Are there many cars out in the morning? Or is it best getting in round lunch?

Marvellous stuff. I will aim to drive over on the Sat, Sunday I will be working though.

Just to echo the first post the atmosphere was nice and relaxed last time I was there; I am an awkward fucker socially and even I felt fully welcome. Last visit I was even less skilled then then I am now and managed not to stack it in the wall.

Wooo ok, I'm aiming to be there around half 10 ish. Hopefully will see lots of people out. Not been to a Buxton day in ages. Really love the venue.

Have any of you seen an old RX7 with a tvr engine in it at the buxton days in the last year? Used to know a guy who went regular but not seen him in a year or 2. Fingers crossed for a sunny day for plenty of smoke :) Really wish i had my 325 already.

Alright, its Buxton Drifting weekend. Woooo. Looking forward to seeing the place again. Weather looking sunny for the day too so bonus.

Cheers to the marshalls and all of you other awesome folk who make this thing happen. Long may it continue. Lovely day and some sexy cars there.

Just a little note from me to say this is well worth the trip, loads of seat time, well run, good standard of driving from what I saw too.

Top job :)
