Buying the Hydraulic Handbrake, Will metric brake piping fit my volvo?

NikDev

Drifts a Swede
I`m buying a hydro, just wondered if i should include the brake lines.

"Can be purchased individually or complete with our braided lines for ease of fitting. The braided lines run from the master cylinder to the handbrake, then from the handbrake to the rear T-Peice. The braided lines are designed to fit Nissan S13/S14/R32 etc, but would also fit other vehicles with metric brake pipe fittings such as Toyotas. Obviously vehicles with longer dimensions would require longer lines."

Will the metric brake piping fit on my volvo?

We've not got a huge knowledge base on Volvo's I'm afraid, as it's one of the few cars that none of us have ever owned (James nearly bought one a month back, and I'm still trying to pursuade she want's one instead of the Clio :wack: )
It's best to check fitment yourself. As long as the fittings are the same, you can just coil the lines if they are to long :)

I'm pretty sure that it will fit an E30, but I'll get Bon to confirm that one and let you know

Zim zimmers are metric too, shouldn't be a problem to just run it out of the master cylinder then back to the t-peice just like a dirty nissan.

Not sure on Volvo but I can't imagine it being imperial!

if i remember correctly, the volvo 3-series has the same fittings as the 2/7/9-series, that is M10.
90% sure of that

of course, i may be wrong :smash:

I wouldnt have thought the 300's being old enough to be imperial fitment bar the OLD 343's etc? When i've been tatting with little odds n ends on my 340 i've never hit a problem of something being imperial yet? But then again I havent messed in the brakes department yet? I want a hydro dammit!
