I'm a beginner drifter and purchased a 325e. I drove a 325i and it was 1 million times faster. It seemed to spin its wheels so easily and I felt like the king of the world. Anyways I am interested in swapping the 325e for the 325i motor but am interested in knowing if the 325i motor is enough for doing actual drifting on tracks. I felt like it could drift with no problem at all and was really exciting.
My budget for starting is around 1000 spanks USD.
I have access to a lot of scrap yards with engines for around 150 bucks.
I have never done an engine swap but I am a very resourceful and determined person.
The most I've done with a car is oil change, starter change, wiring harness lit on fire and I rewired a van.
Worried about if I really get into drifting will needing the turbo be very necessary?
My choices are
Thanks you!!

My choices are
- Turbo the 325e
- Switch the head to 325i to make the stroker and then turbo
- Just swap the 325i
- Sell the e get a different ride
- Maybe there are better options?
Thanks you!!
