CA18 and SR20 dump pipes? Am I being lied to?

Hey just correct me if I'm wrong but this is my current situation:

New 180sx -> CA18DET -> want turbo back exhaust -> get one for cheap but its an SR dump pipe apparently

Find another dump pipe that is listed as CA18 and SR20 compatible -> ask them if this is true because I didn't think that was a thing - > they say yes its a thing -> forum says otherwise.

If someone could clear that up it'd be great!

Here's a pic of the one in question:

I think they are the same yes
The engine has nothing to do with the fitting but the outer housing from the turbo and steering colum (s13 vs s14)

What you have there is a turbo elbow and downpipe as one. Usually they would be separate.
The SR and CA elbows and downpipes are slightly different, just in the flange where elbow meets downpipe.

Since that pipe doesn't have that flange, I'd say it'll probably fit CA and SR engines just fine. But I can't be 100% sure.

It's been a long time since I've had a CA18 and SR20 in stock form side by side. However if I remember correctly the turbo position and T25/T28 turbo outlet stud pattern is the same on both the stock SR and CA. So the turbo elbow should work fine on either the SR/180 or CA/200sx S13
