Ok. So I joined the Drifworks forum because I know alot of you guys are in the UK and Europe and that CA18's were sold to you in the Nissan 180's 200sx's ect. I am over in the US and have a slight issue. I have an 89 Nissan 240sx that originally came with a KA24E, Single cam POS. I have just finished a Right hand drive swap with parts from a Silvia halfcut that I purchased from Japan. The halfcut is from an 89 Nissan Silvia that had a CA18DE non turbo in it. The body harness was uncut and completed so I swapped the body harness over onto my car. Now the issue. I purchased a motor seperately from my front clip. I have a Blacktop S13 SR20det from a 97-98 180sx Type X.

Bottom line I need a full wiring diagram for an S13 with a 5 speed CA18de body harness (mainly the front engine bay area and dash harness). I have been able to find plenty of info on the SR20 as its an extremely popular motor even in the U.S. But I have yet to find a single wiring diagram for the CA18de engine or body harness. I'm sure someone in the U.K. has done this swap.

I have no idea if the dash connector pinouts/ fusebox/ ect pinouts are differnt.
Any help would be greatly appreciate.
Thanks.

We didn't get the non-turbo CA18 engine in any S-body, it was JDM market Silvia only and phased out in 1991 so probably only a very small number ever made it over here.

There is an SR20 fitting guide on SXOC that might help?

New SR20 fitting guide

generally the wiring colours in the main harness connectors do the same thing so you should be able to work it out from that.

also you will have difficulty wiring the type x engine loom in in a couple of areas i can see initially. the dash connector is a different shape so will need a correct one fitting. and the sr/ca/ka de engines dont run coil packs, meaninig there wont be any coil pack wiring or relays in any of the engine/bay looms so youll need to get creative and either add the coil relay into the eccs loom itself or transplant a relay and the wiring into the bay loom as if it were stock
