CA18DET FULLY FORGED, UPDATES

hello guys, finally, after a long time, there are, I need some advice, I ordered all the spare parts for my ca18det, I wanted to get 500hp, as I had communicated, some time ago, but I thought about it, I will aim to get 300-350cv so i bought these pieces

1 - piston CP 84mm 9.0.1
2 - Eagle connecting rods 3 main and connecting rod bearings, acl, standard size (crankshaft good, in tolerance, only polished) 4 - bolt head, arp
5 - cometic gasket kits (head gasket, however, too high, 1.3mm grr)
6 - fuel pump 340 7 OEM oil pump
8 - OEM water pump
9 - large radiator + cooling fans
10 - spark plugs iridium, cold, number 8
11 - air filter open
12 - pipes, 3 "stainless steel, flange, 3" elbow (76mm) 13 boost controller + carburation, innovated scg-1
14 - stage 4 CC clutch
15 - timing kit, belt, bearing
16 - thermostat, in advance

the head will be ground, even the cylinders,

Now i want to buy:
1 Turbo GT2560 Nissan S15 on ball bearings 2 injectors 444cc
3 maf z32
4 Stage 3 h-dev chip
5 intercooler (air-air or air-water?)
6 exhaust manifolds

what do you think?

what power can i get to the max? general assembly advice?

I hope to get help, a hug from Italy

You'll get about 300bhp out of the GT2560R turbo.

You can do that on a standard engine, standard manifold.

hello friend, thanks for the answer, you are always one of the first, I bought all the spare parts, by now the engine will be forged, so further on, the power will increase a lot, the original manifold, they have a crack, as usual, I'm afraid that it can be broken, what can I do to have, 330 HP, as Garrett announces ?
I want to get the most out of the turbo

hello guys, today, I decided to go further, point to 350 as a goal, I am undecided between these 3 turbos, gt2860rs-gr2871r-gtx2867r gen 2, I would like the best turbo, which starts first, as I have already asked to r2k1355 also, I want to show you my engine grinding work, what do you think? however, I noticed a big difference between my engine and of a boy engine

photo number 1, my engine. photo number 2 that of boy engine

Good day

What did you hone the block with? In picture two you can see some of the markings on the other cylinder where the mans hand is, could it just be a low res photo?

Out of those 3 turbos the GTX2867R Gen 2 is the best of the list. Have you looked at the new Garrett G25-550?

Hey! I sent you a private message, you're right, let's talk here, maybe it might be of interest to someone :) now I upload more photos, it's not the resolution, my engine has a color, metallic, chrome, brushed (40-45 degrees) the engine of that boy, looks, smooth, satin, opaque, does anyone know why?

for the turbo: I know the turbo g25, I saw it, excellent turbo, a lot of pressure, but it really costs a lot, about 1800 euros, a lot..the maximum that I can spend on the turbo is 1300 euros, therefore the maximum gtx, as I wrote to you privately, I want 350, so as to have 300 HP on the wheels, not bad for drifting, good power, I have read many forums, I am so confused, some say that the gt2871r is faster than the 2860rs, others say that the gtx2867 gen 2 is powerful, but slow, that's why I'm confused, I want the faster turbo, obviously, as we all want: D

0.64 housing for 350bhp I believe, 0.86 if you want 400+.
Be sure to port match the manifold, there can be quite alot of difference in some cases.

Your pictures look fairly typical for a ball-hone, certainly different from the other engine, perhaps it's had other work done so is not a good comparison to your own?

oh, thanks, waiting for advice, i will definitely buy gt2860r gen 2, a.r 64, injectors evo 560, i have read, they are compatible, i am undecided on which intercooler to put, i would like to install an air-water intercooler, i am undecided on the Size, advice?

the engine I took it to another workshop, they pointed out a detail to me, the cylinders must be more refined, crossings made better.

I will drive like a wild boar, when I drive I want to be calm, that nothing can be broken, I am very precise, I prefer to spend more money, but be calm, the work must be done well

my exhaust manifolds are cracked, shit, shit, shit I'll have to buy them

Where exactly is this we're looking at?

Don't got air-water, air-air is perfectly fine and much less hassle.

thank you for replying, then, let's go in order talk about the intercooler, I know, the air-to-air intercooler is very simple, less expensive, reliable, but not efficient, at low speed (drift, events, shows, in parking lots) ), I am very intrigued, I would like to do a test, for me, for others, the air-water intercooler, attracts me, the costs are almost the same, an excellent air-air intercooler, costs in Italy, 250-260 euros, making an air-to-water intercooler costs about 350 euros (intercooler 200, water pump 60, go-kart radiator 40, (or 2 radiators, 80,) cooling fan 60,who knows, the turbo gtx2860 gen 2 a / r 64 (tomorrow I will buy it) as it will behave, the ducts are much shorter, air-air intercooler, total length, ducts, more than 2 meters, air-water ducts length less than one meter..this way, it will be more efficient, more cold air, less pressure turbo, less fuel, less effort, less consumption = more power, what do you say? (I also have an idea to cool the water, without using ice) I should have, very fast spool, what do you say?

green line air to water
red line air to air

note: a boy I know, on his ca18det, forged, rebuilt, uses a turbo g25 660, more than 2 bar of pressure (I think they are 30 PSI), air-water intercooler, excellent results, the temperature is slightly higher, than the temperature environment, very low, very few degrees in winter

Mine is cracked in the same place. Its the manifold outlet.. think it's common and not an issue

even a friend of mine, same problem, exhaust manifold defect, shit, how many problems :( I'm afraid, with so much power, it could come off, it could cause damage to the turbo, what can I do? a used exhaust manifold does not cost much, will it work better?

That high power engine you are comparing your bore to has brand new sleeves in it and that is why it looks so smooth.
