CA18DET running gear

hey, i got a CA18DET running gear it has:

ECU, loom, turbo (T3/T28), all manifold, auto gearbox, air con setup, altenator, starter motor, pretty much everthing you need for a 180/silvia

when the gear came out it was all running 100% no smoke.

this stuff IS IN AUSTRALIA! it will need to be shipped.

price: $2500 aud +shipping, pics upon request.
 
Thats about 1060 GBP which is a good price for all that, shame its a CA they dont go for much more than 400 GBP in stock trim over here and auto box is scrap metal to most on here! The turbo might be worth summat tho, but shipping the whole lot would more than likely be prohibitively expensive.

You dont by any chance know the guys at JMS in Adelaide would ya?

nah i dont know the guys at JMS, im not from that area. so the ol' CA isnt worth much :(


superclarkey: what do you mean by 8 port?
 
JDM spec, they have 8inlet traces instead of the Uk 4 port type

Not a lot, you might get some guys in the US, they should be less fussed with the auto, happy with the air con and prolly cheaper on the shipping!

8 and 4 port inlet I'm guessing, but I've never paid much attention to the CA's porting or head design, just assumed it was the usual jap possibly cossie YB inspired stuff. Also work on CA almost always means 'big end bearings' or 'whole engine swap'!!!!

I hope you've got an SR/RB etc to go in assuming you've pulled the motor from a project and not a scrapper!
