Calling all bike riders!

Sea Squirrel

Jeff Mills Is Watching!
Right, this is a definite event that is ABSOLUTELY happening in the next 6 weeks. I will have a confirmed date tomorrow morning (once we've spoken to a few team riders to get some demo guys down) but it will be a Sunday, all day affair and it WILL be worth the trip down to the furthest corner of the arse end of the country for it!

We're hosting a bike jam at the Kingsdown trails in Kent; one of the few legal outdoor jump parks in the UK and one of the largest in the country. Don't be put off by the weeds in the pics, summer's hard to beat back but it will all be clear by the event.

All this, plus pro demo riders, a down-hill section with wooden rollercoaster route, dirt bowls, prizes all day and the chance to feature on the riders shop DVD!

This is going to be massive. Tickets are available for 150 people total - including non-riders, entry fee will be released along with the date tomorrow.

Looks like a fking sicko place. Good luck with the event! With some nice tunes spinning and the right crowd it should be killer.

Props to whoever suffered the endless council meetings and setbacks to actually get this place legal and built, looks like its been there a fair while.

A couple of good old friends I used to ride with have done something similar over the last few years, ending in summer this year where they now have this to ride. Feel free to dribble. I can't claim to have anything to do with the building of these, having never lifted a spade there, but as anybody that knows what trails represent would understand, you cannot help but have massive respect for what they have achieved.

Good luck with the jam.

Fuck the ploughman.

I can get pics of the down hill section. It's not perfect but it is there. They only started work on it this winter just gone and, from experience, I can say that digging into chalk is not fun... Or quick. It's more technical than steep. A few drops and rollercoaster sections rather than a massive downhill track, all leading into the pump section and kicks on the left of the image looking down park.

Will have prices soon but it's going to be seriously cheap for the amount of time you get.

that looks awesome, I'd like to see some pics of the DH section, will help me decide which bike to bring!

I cant see the pics because im at work, but from the sounds of things im definetly interested!

Also if anyone is local to North London we have some sweet 'private' trails with lots of dirt jumps, north shore and freeride features:D

Keep us posted on the dates etc!!

Right then, some details!

I can now confirm that the date for this event will be the 19th of September. The price will be £10 to ride ALL DAY with prizes available, Josh Allen of willshootforfood and JDM Allstars video fame will be putting together a DVD that YOU can feature on to be premiered on the 7th November (along with live music), the DMR demo team will be joining us for the day, BBQ with free burger included in your entrance fee, music spinning all day and just a wicked, chilled out vibe.

Anyone that's interested stick a name down here:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
etc

and I'll be taking paypal payments for tickets starting Monday. If you're under the age of 18 then you MUST have a signed parental consent form on the day or you will NOT be allowed to ride and no refunds will be given.

Maximum of 150 spaces people. Get involved!

Looks properly awesome! Wish I could do that sort of thing! Last time me and a mate went out he twatted his head against a tree and buckled his wheel. That was off a jump about 1ft high, haha!
