Can I start with this?

Hi There! Pretty new to drifting here, still learning theories and have yet to put them into practice, but I wanna know if it's possible with what I have. Right now I drive a 2013 Nissan Versa (I know it's not great for drifting), FWD, 1.5L i4 engine, 102 in. wheelbase (259 cm), 2,441 lbs (1107 kg). It's automatic, but I do know how to force shift, and I heard somewhere (might've been here) that it's better to learn to flick and feint drift first with a FWD and without the handbrake. Is it feasible to start with this or should I save up for something easier like a 240SX/S13. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Even though your car is FWD, you can still learn some cool moves. For example, you can try lift-off oversteer. This is when you quickly take your foot off the gas, and it makes the back of the car swing out a bit. It's a good way to get a feel for how the car moves and how to control it, which is really important for drifting. But, keep in mind that you won't be able to do long drifts or the usual drifting tricks that you can do with a RWD car.
