The most important thing about this camera which no other i can see for sale at the mo has is that it has just come back from Canon and had the Shutter replaced and a full clean/service costing £102. I have the invoice etc to prove this and warranty. This should put it clearly above any other.

I wont bore you with the specs but it is a superb Digital SLR that is fully functional in terms of accessories and lenses etc it will take absolutely stunning pictures that no compact camera is going to match.

take it from me - you dont have to have any interest in photography like i didnt as you'll get drawn into the enjoyment of getting fun all the way to pro looking pics.

damien - not looking for a compact unfortunately fella as i have another SLR.

at this price you cannot go wrong.

i only bought an slr as i was always in awe of pics taken by others with them...i had no knowledge of them (not that you need to) and im now absolutely loving them...i think people are mad not to have one. after all you can get superb SLRs for the price of compacts nowadays and there is no comparison when talking ability etc.

turn yours on and simply push the shutter button - 2-3 seconds before it actually takes it right? this can shoot 3 frames a second :D Nuff sed! lol
 
whats the screen size like on it?
also does it do good moving videos or is it just a still cam?
i know nothing about cameras but wanna jump on the band wagon and learn ...

specs here - bear in mind that these are no comparison to compact camera so the specs arent comparable as is like comparing chalk and cheese also screen size isnt really that much of a factor as you'll use the viewfinder to take pics :)

It doesnt do video but Slr's arent really for videos as they are focussed on video but instead images - they allow massive arrays of lenses to be used from 25 year old ones which are amazing to modern ones with all sorts of features, they are fully adjustable allowing you to creat effects from freezing the action like a drift car on track to blurring the background to get the feeling of motion - the list of things you can do with them is endless but this is a fantastic place to start and will take top quality images :)

go to dslrtips.com and look at tutorial vids to get an idea of the amazing things you can do with them...
