As the title states, I have found myself messing around with another BMW which is even older then the one I previously lost. Not sure why but I have a strong liking to these car and Ive grown to understanding the make and design not to mention tuning here and there.

Enough rampling time to introduce the new addition.......drum roll please

1988 325i E30 manual convertible.......wiiittthhhh alot of miles.

Ok so heres what ive been up to so far....

I started with tackling the interior first because the previous own had me work on it before adding a few switches because he chopped the key ignition up...


So a quick story about this car.....my friend own this car and was going to fix it up and drift it but i made him an offer and here we are now. I already know what the problems are with the car. I plan on taking the motor out and swapping it to something turbo, Sr20, Ls, 5.0, rotary, anything i can grab after selling this motor.

So im about two weeks in and ive fully gutted the car, started rewiring and making customs switch boards. Also added my other red racing seat from my other build i was doing on here. You can see pics of me making the marks and brackets. Also painted the cabin and as well installed an shuft boot from an 80's vw.

Top of the morning to everyone.
Got more work done and i know its nothing major but makes a difference to me. I started do more. Sheet metal work and also started working on the outside of the car.
1)Ive manage to paint the car
2)cut and reinstall headlight
3)start cutting the rear to get mark up for radiator relocation
4)recieved an steering wheel with quick release(cheap kind but free.

Ok guy didnt mean to load that vid again. I thought it was the oil pan vid. Here a view pics to past the time.

I found a broken lifter and washer in the pan, and a worn bolt

Sooo good news is that i have some parts that are coming in alomg with parts that have already came in.
1)Zap 2 row radiator
2)square head lights with bazel
3)1.3 bar coolant cap with dial
4)Slim style water coolant tank
Few here and theres etc haha naa really tho

Before i start.....i will like to say that i will touch up on every bit of my work......I just want it done for the mark up.

I uploaded another video on the channel but somehow got deleted. So I'll be makong another really soon. Here is a lil PIC PORN.
 
Ok guys also im switching to rear radiator setup. Just makes more sense to do so...especially with the mitch match cooling system. Not sure on the weight transfer after this but if done right by my drawing then if shouldnt be off by much. Still more parts to come.

Allright guys just waiting on a few more parts then i can began on customizing the cooling system, installing the radiator in rear along with chopping some weight off.

Ive literally been going thro hell with my personal life and the car is currently all i have left (besides clothes). Ive been working alot of side jobs to get parts and pay for whatever i need. At the moment im saving up for another motor. Just want to replace the M20 with something else.

Once cooling system is done i can move on to suspension..(because overheating is more important then being low and stiff). Then from there find someone to put a cage in for me.....i would try but i just rather it done by a pro or someone with greater knowledge on that.

Also ive been looking a wheels but cant seem to find any deep dish 17' four lugs.

Hello my good people of the tire slaying community........

My parts are in and im going full savage on the build.
I also made another youtube video just for the folllowers

In the pics im bouncing around installing new gear and getting rid of more interior and cutting out the truck. Ive pulled the fuel pump and installed the new one with the 340 pump.

Also finally decided to fix the M20 for time being my buddy has a turbo setup for it brand new.
I pulled the valve cover off just to see a broken lifter. (Wasnt surprised)

Got more pics for everyone.........

Started checking more out on the M20 and seen there was quite a few problems in the ignition and spark department. Distributor cap was fried and rotor pin look to be dirty and slight shaved on the edges. But i love what i do sooooo i started checking more and the cam sensor has cracked casing filled with oil and I'm sure it has metal particals in it.

At the moment im getting more piping for relocating the radiator, hoses for the catch cans and water tank.

Got around to doing the exhaust gaskets which the old ones were completely done.

I just got back around the E30 this week. Been working to save up for parts by doing side mechanic jobs like always. This time instead of installomg everything as they came in, Idecided to just till everything came in.


But.........its sooooooo harrdddddddd
Soo i started installimg a few things. Just waiting on headgasket at the moment to complete motor.....

Also looking around for piping to complete the rear radiator relocation. I believe I MAY OR MAY NOT. Be the FIRST to complete or start an E30 325i Cabrio rear mount radiator relocation but I want to be

Ok i also painted the trunk to match the interior alone with the brakets ill for mounting the ZAP radiator.

P.S. in one of the pic you will see the clean piston head becuase of broken rocker arm
