Car Towing Rig for sale

EDIT - apparently welded diffs and LSDs are ok to tow with this setup.

I think automatic transmission is a no. I would think (without wishing to start a debate) as long as a car will roll along and steer in neutral, you can tow it.
Although I think mad mike used one of these to tow his tramper BMW with welded diff around once or twice? I may be wrong.

Stiggy used to tow his starlet every where and that has a welded diff i dont think it caused him any problems

I plan to tow my S13 the same way

Thats good news then :)

Mike - As you can see in the picture there are 2 chains, one on each side. Each one attaches to an upright which sits against the front of the wishbone. The chains wrap around the back of the wishbone and then forwards to hook into a rigid mount. This has a certain degree of adjustment on it through the screw fitting to tension the chains up. The lateral bar has a few different settings and keeps the two arms at equal distance.

I also have a towing board and an extension lead to plug into your standard towbar electricals that I can chuck in for an extra £20.
