Hello.
I want to introduce to you my winter project.
The idea is to shorten the original intake plenum of a original E36 318Ti.
The plan is simple:
Cut the cast plenium and leave just the flange and the injector holders.
With this I do not have a need to build whole flange myself.
I wanted to buy a Vstacks from ebay. But later decited to make carbon fiber ones.
For one Vstack I need more time than I expect. Not to mention I needed to make a mold for them.
But I have all of them made. So this is nice.
This first stage of the build. The flange is welded on the original runners.
Second stage will be creating the mold for the plenum and dyno testing the engine.
I expect a loss of torque. But gain of HP in the higher rage.
I usually push the revs from 4k up in my "spirited" driving so... I am all abouth the revs.
At the moment the car is a daily driver.
But I plan to buy another car to drive to work. And have this one just for wrenching.
