Myself and Ed_r32 have found ourselves a very cool unit in the Beaconsfield/High Wycombe area. The two of us are planning to take it on but ideally we would like another person to go in on it with us.


The Unit
It's 975 sq ft with enough room to easily work on 4 cars + store tools/parts etc. Im planning on fitting a 2 post ramp/tyre machine/compressor pretty quickly so that facility will be there. It has 3 and single phase electricity.

It's pretty secure, out in the middle of know were with gated entry to the complex (so security shouldn't be a problem)

The only downside, is that the path up to the unit has a fairly steep entry slope then up an unmade path. It's ideal for working on projects or if your compeating and trailer your car most places then it would be cool for that too. However you would stugle to fit a very low Nissan or anything with a large front overhang up there without removing the front bumper. However, saying that - Ed managed to get his super decked ex tein demo E36 up there with next to no problems at all. So maybe im being a bit ott :wack:

If you want to go "in" on it with us, all costs will be split 3 ways. It'll cost you a maximum of £115 per month + another £10 per month in service providing + whatever electricity we use.
For that you get:-

- Place to store and work around 1 car
- Place to keep your tools and shizzle
- Some basic storage of parts/bits and stuff (within reason)
- Unlimited storage for fitty skandanavian half naked honnies (bizzle requires 24 hour access)
- if you want to put in your own 2 poster and store two cars (one on the ramp, one in the air) no problems.
- 24 hour/365 days a year access. (could do without banging about and making massive noises after midnight, but no real big deal)

I have to sign a 1 year lease on this place, so we are looking for somebody who's
a) not a cock
b) is looking to have somewhere for 1 year plus
c) isn't a cock


£140ish pm for the ability to work inside, in the warm AND have access to a two post is cheap as chips. I also have a trailer which im happy for you to use to get too and from (if needed)

If i had my car already I would have gone for this as its quite close to me, unforetunately I dont :(

If it can fit 4 cars ? why dont you get 4 people involved surely that would bring costs down aswell and not everyone would be in there at the same time ?
 
I could do mate, I'm open to all options. More than enough space for 4 cars to be worked on. I want to have space too work on my two
cars, so I'm going to want half of the unit. So if
two others want to come in at £87 each then that would suit me fine.
 
do you have pics of the unit mate? also what side of wycombe is it as i am wycombe side of henley so couldbe 15 min away could be 45 min away from me.
 
No pics of the unit, but a viewing can be aranged if you would like. It's just outside of Beaconsfield, so it's far east wycombe. For you a quick nip up through bournend to beaconsfield.

Timing wise, if we can get agreement - then it would be in before Christmas i would say...

What car are you looking for mate?

s14a or a r32 preferably whatever I can get my hands on to be honest, gotta get my 206 sold first, tbh if my friend is up for it i'd definately be interested even before I have my car just to garuntee the space. I'll have a word with him and see what he says.
 
It really is a great unit, having a machine shop round the corner is always handy as well. It has a nice high ceiling etc. its mucho cheapness, far more space than you could ever get for that price!
 
Do it! Wish my plans for a car hadn't fallen through otherwise it would be my name up there right now :( good luck though dude, hope someone jumps on soon, its a good location and unit!
