Clutch and flywheel

Hi guys, I have an exedy hypersingle at the moment which is starting to slip and I've been let down with a clutch and flywheel i purchased on the forums. Tbh I don't want to buy a second hand clutch again.

I want a clutch and flywheel that will last me. I've been looking on the DW shop at this Exedy Sports Paddle Clutch - Nissan Silvia S14 1995-1998 2 Litre SR20DET - Transmission Driftworks Shop

Any idea's what sort of figures it can handle torque and hp wise? I was thinking of the type S but what would you recommend?

The car is a daily and sees the track once to twice a month for drifting. Currently it's sitting at approx 320horses and 270lb/ft torque. The car will be mapped for more torque in the next couple of months and i want this clutch to be able to handle the power.

Also possibly after a lightened flywheel too

Thanks

Yo,

The s-type will handle that power no problem, and a fair bit more from your remap.
You get £50 discount when you buy one of our flywheels with a clutch too ;)

Excellent stuff, thanks Kam. Just waiting for my money to be refunded back through paypal, i don't imagine seeing the clutch i've bought as it's been a month since paying for it :O

will be in touch shortly

thanks

I dont think organic will be good for drifting? Car will have around 300bhp soon, and now at stage 2 i burned my stock organic.

Its not strictly an organic, in the sense of an s14 organic.
Its a puck type clutch, as above.

It will be fine at that power :)

Now Im confused, as it says in the shop that the soft nature of the organic clutch leads to accelerated wear with aggressive use. And I dont really car for everyday driveability, I just wont it to hold the power while I abuse it when drifting. Price is the same? Can you tell me some more details about this s type?
I tryed sport tuff in mates car and I like the feel of that.
