Coilover swap - help!

I have a Nissan 240SX with all four struts and everything. Can I swith those with coilovers or do I have to go to an aftermarket strut? Because if I can go to coilovers, I was planning on going with TEIN's RS coilovers.

by the way, I'm new at this.

not too sure what you mean by 'all four struts and everything'... but....
Coilovers are basically springs and dampers combined, so they are a straight swap for your factory items in that respect :thumbs: you don't need anything special in order to fit them.

Out of interest, why have you chosen the Tein RS? :)
 
I chose the TEIN RS coilovers because I see a good deal of drifters using them such as the Falken team, so I figure they must be pretty good... expensive, but good. If there are any better coilovers for the money though let me know, cuz Id be happy to spend less for good performance.

Also, what I meant about all four struts was that my 240sx just has struts and I didn't know if coilovers could replace struts or if I would have to go with after market struts instead of coilovers.

you wanna check that D1 drivers arent having them re-valved for a specific set up too :thumbs:
