Hey guys.
Going to be replacing the BC Reds (V1 Series) coilovers that have been in my S13 for the past 10 years. Looking for peoples opinions on what would be a good replacement for the most comfortable driving experience on our kinda shitty NZ roads. (pot holes everywhere where I live)
The big 2 I'm looking at right now are BC Golds (BR series) and Tein Flex Zs. So anything around that price range would be where I'm looking.
I'm also aware that a lot of dealers selling coilover sets are willing to change the springs out for different rates. No doubt I'll be talking to whichever dealer I end up going with about what they would recommend for street driving but if anybody has experience here that would be cool.
I've heard a lot of people saying good things about whatever suspension they have on their cars, but without a point of reference I have nothing to compare that to. (Are your roads super smooth? Do you actually like a really firm ride? How does it compare to OEM? Etc...)
I'll be carrying on with some more research on my own but any input is appreciated.
Thanks
