comfy buckets?

Looking to support my arse in a new seat but not sure what one to go for?
Want a comfy one this time round as I have a old cobra monaco and for anyone that's tried these seats they will know that they are like sitting on a bit wood.
Any suggestions?

Reason Monacos are like that is they're old steel framed piles of shit, like most cheapo bucket seats.

Get something decent, Sparco Evo, Cobra Suzuka, OMP Corsa, or frankly almost any seat that's about the same shape as those ones, ie not straight back steel framed cheapos, and they'll be pretty bloody comfy.

I've had Cobra, Corbeau and Sparco which were all fixed back but l keep going back to Cobra as find them the comfiest. Comes down to personal preference.

Also depends if they are for a Drift only Car or a Drift car for road use as well. Mine were for Drift only.

Try a few out in the shops and then shop around for the best price.

Yes, Cobra Monacos are basically like sitting on the floor of the car anyway.

Had a Sparco Rev, such a great seat, comfy and supportive.

Now have a Bride Brix II recliner, hands down the comfiest but not as supportive as the Rev, obviously.

For now it will be purely for skidding but i dont want to rule out using it on the road.

I was originally looking at the sparco EVO but they are ment to be for a large frame person and I'm built like the side of a £5 note so the Rev would probably be ideal.

I'll have a look at some cobras too and see what I can find.
Anyone know any shops that sell buckets in NE Scotland?

Cheers

Put a clubsport into my 46 daily..excellent seat so far and cheap to..much better than the evo 2 so far

Just had a look at the club sport and looks like a good seat, great for the price too. I'll add it to the list of possibilities. Ta

I run Corbeau Forza fixed back seats and I daily drive with them in. Besides me packing on a few pounds I feel like they are awesome for the price.

Recaro for me is easily the comfiest, the price was high though so ended up with a DW Cobra Imola, daily it and it's plenty comfortable enough.
Dealt with the cheapo steel framed ones in the past, Forza/Monaco/whatever, generally just very uncomfortable, ok only for short periods, track only! A mate recently got some of the Corbeau club sports, the shell is made from very thin FRP, pretty flimsy and the base bends noticably when you sit on it (im only 70kg). Easy to see why they do not have FIA approval, I also find it pretty uncomfortable, back pain almost straight away.

cobra suzuka wins for my everytime.
Look for seats with leg support then it doesnt cut into your hip.

A seat is a comfy as your position it in the car aswell, I have done plenty of 3-4 hour trips in mine.
If your anything above a 36 id go xl and pad it out if needed
