I noticed a set of wheel arch extensions on ebay. they were copies of crystal body yokoham ones. i searched the net and found some pics on their website of their complete kit. i quite like the look of this kit and the arches can accomodate much bigger wheels by the looks of it

Fronts are　９Ｊ－１６　オフセット　－６
Rears are　 ９Ｊ－１６　オフセット　－４３

i quite like this kit/ wheel combo. what does everyone else think of it?

The arches and skirts look nice but I think the front lip ruins it, it just doesn't seem to fit the style in my oppinion. The CBY style arches look great on a lot of cars though. I saw a similar set on a 240Z and I couldn't believe the difference they made.
 
Oh yeah i seen them too! Im watching them closely and if the price is still sensible im gonna put a bid in later on! They look AWESOME!!!!!
Not only will they accomodate bigger rims, but they also help with the problem of rust in the rear arches etc! Cuz you can just cut out the rust and attach them arches without spending loads on the original Toyota trims(on the facelift model like mine), that traps dirt and moisture! If you know what i mean! :D
 
Its cool, but i dont think its actually possible to afford rims that fit it! :worthy: They are Panasports in the pics i think, and you really dont wanna know how much they cost!
 
pazza's right, the Panasport C8R wheels are megabucks.

I have the 7.5J x 15 ones on my trueno and the cost of them in Japan is 60,000 each (£300). I think the 9J x16s are in the region of 80000yen plus
 
I really should learn to have the tissues to hand before I read threads with pics like these in them :o :worthy:
 
I emailed the guy selling these on Ebay. If somebody organised a group buy you could probably get em cheap. He quoted me 340 for arches and front lip.

Personally Im not interested anymore. I want my hatchi to have a kinda original clean look.
 
That Car looks fat as hell one of the best Ae86 ive seen for looks , anyone got any idea where i could purchase these sort of arches for a 180Sx :D

The front spoiler sucks but the rest is luuurvly :worthy: I have some nice Japanese bolt on flares to go on one of my Datsuns when I ever get round to it. I'm having mould made off them but they will probably be too small to fit much else as they are for a Datsun 1200.
 
I like the kit but the wheels look a bit pony, not sure what would suit a car that age though without looking tarty?? They look wide!!!!
