dart izumi exhaust

Saw a exhaust on one of the driftworks staffs old cars and I feel in love, i remember reading it was a dart izumi, can you get hold of these or know where i can get one

@Jord, Can they get them? id really like one of these, its just on the envy site they are listed as discontinued???
 
As far as I know they are discontinued, and even Dart Izumi's website is long gone :( However, if you can manage to navigate your way to the exhaust section in Yahoo JP auctions and search for S13, you'll find plenty of similar ones for sale, or even a 2nd hand original. After that, you just need someone to bring it over for you :thumbs:
 
Thanks Bon, ill give sumo a try. If I can't get one of these are there any good exhausts with the same style
 
Playworker and I spent tens of hours scouring the net for one of these last year. The only way you're going to get one is to get a second hand one from Japan, and even then they're pretty rare, judging from when we were looking.

Also, if you're putting it on a roadcar, you'd best start developing friendships with the local 5-0 :D

Nah, I've had a Spec II and while it's loud it does actually have a centre silencer, the Dart is just 3" into twin 2.5", no silencer whatsoever :wack: Which is also why it's better to just get one made, not difficult at all.
 
Yeah i am considering getting one made as i do love the look. Did you get a dart in the end or did you just plump for the spec II? I wonder how much louder they are, cos the centre silencer in the BC is ridiculous, im sure they only put it in so they could charge a few more yen!
 
carta, there's a new exhaust fabricating place in walsall where midland performance centre was, spotted it couple of weeks ago :thumbs:
 
Yours doesn't look as angled as the Dart Izumi zorst to me... Got any better pics of it?
