Does anybody know much about these cars? Preferably Z Series 1. I don't know too much, but absolutely love what I've seen. I'm not sure if it'd be a viable car to drift in though. I mean with modifications of course, but the parts are pretty rare.
 
I was looking at one.... Think exactly the same as you probably, I was thinking of basically shelling it and transplanting running gear and engine ect from something else, maybe a cheeky 2jz lol
 
How much was the one you looked at? The inline six isn't a bad engine and with some fine-tuning would make an excellent drifter in my opinion. The only ones I can find are in shit shape or the owner knows what it's worth... damn people.
 
If youre in the UK, forget it, anything that isnt disintegrated will cost more than a specced S14. I cant speak for the States but there are many, many better platforms to start with :)
 
I'm in the states. We have quite a few in condition to be restored. I'm going to be drifting my SN95 while I build my Zed after I buy one.

have to agree, in the UK they (and especially RHD) are going up in value quickly - wouldnt dream of drifting mine!
