Datsun 260z , WIDE and LOW complete rebuild

hey guys heres a thread of my new project its a 1978 datsun 260z.i started liking these when i saw yuta's 240z about 6 months ago that soon turned into my favorite car. so i started saving up and soon had around 2800 quid to spend on one (quite alot for a 17 year old). i went to view a couple and they were incredibly rusty and still out my price range ! soo i posted a wanted add on the z club for one closer to my price range. a few days later i got an email saying a guy had one in his garage and i could have it for FREE! so a week later i went up to get it. 3 and a half hours later i was in his garage. i couldnt believe my eyes this car was still pretty rusty but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as some of the datsuns i have seen advertised for 4 grand. here is some pictures

yeah they are pretty expensive for parts , but finding them is harder! im gonna have to order them from america

Ouch! I have an mx5 and I was surprised by how many parts there are in the US compared to the UK, importing is the problem :/ good luck!

yeah you can get some cheap stuff from the us but it costs like 50 quid to get it posted !
