hey guys got a set of defis but am missing a wire the short one that links the chain and im also a little confused as to what wires goes into the control box. there is 3 conections on the back of the gauges 2 at bottom 1 at top do u connect them all in the chain from bottom connections then when you get to the end of the chain the last wire goes to the control box? iv got a long wire to go to the control box but am just missing the short one i will get some pics up 2morro to better explain my stupidity lol but would it be possible just to get the small wire by its self?

long wire from control to one of bottom on the gauge then short wire from the other one at the bottom to the next gauge... top (on the gauge) is for warning indicator light

regular meters go to port 1 - BF meters to port 2 on the controler...

if you're very desperate I can send you one of my spare manuals.. as you get one with each meter you buy new.
 
mine were second hand you see hehe friend imports cars and they were taken out of car before it was shipped and was sent over by parcel so they must of lost the wire in japan. yea i suppose manuel would come in handy ill post you my adress bud thanks as long as it doesnt cost arm and leg to get here from switzerland :P
 
we can order the cables in, yes. You want one that goes from where to where? and roughly how long?

the long wire that is connected should go to the control unit but i need one of the small ones that chain them together.

also im missing 1 of the little 4 pin connector blocks on 2 of the gauges wonder if you would be able to get them as well

if possible take the gauge with the missing block as last in chain... that way you don't need to do any soldering ;)
 
Id also be interested if you could get hold the small connectors as Im missing 1

Can't see any mention of connector blocks in the spares list. Has it snapped off somehow?
As for the connecting wires, they come in a few sizes:
25cm = £3.50
50cm = £7.05
100cm = £8.25
200cm = 10.55

Those prices are inc vat but ex postage, which should only be a couple of quid.
They'd need to be a special order, so we can either chuck them in with our next Tein order if you're ok to wait, or we can get them in separately which costs us something like £7 postage per order, which we'd have to pass onto you.
 
can you order me one in a 25 cm one i will pay the extra postage:). The block must of got lost in japan awell will have to make something to hold the wire in. thanks james!
