Delays

I placed an order about 10 days ago and have not received the parts yet with no contact to say they was to be a delay, I tried the 'contact us' option on Monday and have not had a reply from that either

Any ideas?

I am getting a bit pissed off now guys, it doesn't take more than a minute just to let me know what is going on

As I said I have tried the 'contact us' and also posted this thread, the guys have been on line numerous times since I posted the thread so should I need to do any more?

Just plain bad manners in my opinion, next time i want to go spending a few hundred quid I won't be doing it in the DW shop
 
Must be just an oversight, as normally bits are delivered really quickly. Tried PMing Phil or James?
 
No, I haven't PM'd, I don't see why I should have to 'private message' a trader, the shop has its own contact method and this section of the forum is dedicated to the DW shop too, that should be enough surely

you're right, it's not on and it's not normal for us.
Let me take look into it for you.
 
Righto, the delay was that we were missing a couple of small parts from your order.

We did send email updates out on the 2nd and again on the 10th to ask if you wanted the rest sending out and those bushes to follow and to keep you updated with the progress.

All our order related emails are sent out via the shop system which helps us keep track and means you can check your order status online too.

Having done a bit of digging, it seems that the email address entered when your shop account was created ends '@lineone.nt' I presume this should actually be '@lineone.net' and have now ammended your account on the system.

This would explain the lack of contact, as those emails we sent would have dissapeared into the ether :smash:

Anyhow, the score is that we've just received the missing parts through this morning and will be sending your order out today, will be all with you on Monday

Apologies for the hassle, it seems the email address was the source of the problem, but we should have phoned up when we didn't get a reply after a certain length of time :smash:

Bizzare, my account is set up with .net as I have the confirmation email

Seems I must have done some tosser typing at a later date then...thanks for following it up James and as long as the other parts are not going to be too long you can send it all in one go
 
yeah, we actually had 2 accounts created for you, one in March and the second in April, one as .net and the other as .nt
So I've tidied all that up for you now, we have everything for your order in stock now so that'll go out with our courier today and everything will be with you on Monday.

Perhaps a small apology about your comments above is due to DW? One point worth mentioning is that a post by 'Pete' isnt going to be easily matched up with your online shop account as Im sure there are a number of Petes registered on their system.
