the patchwork quilt look was getting a bit old so decided with summer fast fooking off it was time to sort it out. After weeks of deliberation about colours, the possibility of some flames or pinstripes I finally decided on a colour whilst standing in halfords buying the cans
so this is how it looked on saturday before we got stuck in, just with the sideskirts taken off-
Then some other bits came off too-
the tailgate was a bit of a mess from a previous attempt at filling and there was a hole where the aerial once lived, not any more!
after much rubbing (now into sunday) and smoothing some progress was being made
Then the gay gay rain stopped play so we covered it and went over the road to the pub
it soon cleared up so we necked our beers and got back to work, time for a test patch oooooooooh
taking shape nicely
gotta have the black roof to be bling these days
ooooaaaaaah, so very nearly done
huuuuuuge thanks to mr Ryan for doing most of the work and generally stopping me from rushing straight in with a rattle can, this guys a legend, yes.
heres where it gets all arty farty moody. still gets me off nicely though.
huzzah!
ah, so there we have it. the car is now an aluminium finish, I am knackered and all is well. woot!
