Different types of clutch based LSDs

So I've been doing a lot of research into differentials and I thought I understood the differences between the types until I noticed that some videos explained clutch based LSDs differently. What I mean is in the video by Engineering Explained it shows 1-way, 1.5-way, and 2-way LSDs (yes I understand the difference between those 3), but then I watch the video by Learn Engineering and it shows an LSD that is spring loaded to put pressure on the clutches. As I looked into it more I found companies such as Kaaz that made 2 way diffs and companies such as Eaton that made spring loaded diffs. No matter how hard I looked I could not find the difference between the two types of clutch LSD.

Does anyone know the functional difference between these two types of clutch based LSDs?
How would they perform differently for drifting?
