I only found old info when looking for up-to-date list of tracks, prices etc. It makes sense to start a fresh thread, seeing as the old one is over 6 years old and some tracks have closed down...

Innit. A lot of the stuff is quite old. I only know SantaPod. I live in South London and Santapod is about a 2hr 30 drive. So if anyone knows anything closer to London / South that'd be great.

Three Sisters is still going near Wigan, not useful for the SE/London people but they run big/little boys days pretty regularly and Matt sorts tyres for it out like a ledge

edit: little boys days like £85, big boys £115 iirc, honestly not that far off pod and it's on a cool track but if you're shit like me there's no hardstanding to just do donuts on so you've gotta be a minimum of "not completely shit"

Teesside in Middlesbrough run open days max 90 cars for £90 although I find that 90 cars is too many should be 70 max.

Is there really nothing going on despite of three sisters, teesside, Santa pod, drift land, dpad?

Not that I know of mate no, there's a right market to be had but, no one catering for it, and the odd other one that there is there wanting, down turned exhausts, and loads of other crap rules that's making drifting boring.

I wouldn't say drifting is getting boring to be honest i think it's all for the best if we want drifting to continue then we as a community need to paint a better picture of the sport, i can't think of anything worce than turning up to a track day and hearing a straight piped m52 or 350z, also 9 times out of 10 that straight pipeed car will look like it's done a demolition derby, on the other side of this track insurance for drifting is only getting harder to achieve and i do think it's for the better tracks are clamping down safety as folk think it's acceptable to rock up to a drift day with a OEM seat and seatbelt this is just nonsense the more we support what folk are putting on then more events will be organised.
Wasn't teeside not doing private days?

Ohh don't get me wrong pal I completely agree with what you say regarding to scrap heaps people bring and rag around, I'm all for people having better and safer cars, who care about going off track and loosing everyone else seat time waiting for them dragging out, my point about the exhausts and that, was that drifting is ment to be fun, it's ment to be wild and in your face, it's what makes the appeal to the sport, I just hope that tracks making alot of rules, that dum down the sport don't take away what the sport is all about islf that makes sense.

Yeah its just not the best image it's putting across like,
I see it first hand my self and 2 mates run a small track up north Scotland and we see it on the regular, and now we are having to put more control in place as other tracks set rules they think they can get away with it up at ours but we need to all be on the same page and set a standerd,
Exhausts noises are a big issue tho is it just takes a few complaints for it to be a problem, i find if we want it to continue then there's plenty options to keep a car around 105db and still sound ace,
