Drift Project needed!

I've got up to a grand to spend and I need to get this off the ground asap. looked at lots of cars and seen some absolute dogs, need something pretty reliable that's a good platform to start on, may be able to push this up to £1500 if I see the right car (though this imeans I'm starting to eat the modding budget). Needs to be roadworthy as well as being a drift toy, let me know what you've got ideally needs to be in the south east if possible...

Only thing is the car has to be a runner, though it's a drift project it's also got to get me to work until I can convince the wife to let me keep 3 cars....
