Drift & Skyline advice

Hi all,
New to the site and looking for some general advice and opinions. I went to Santa pod with my good friend in his v8 e30 last month and have decided I have been given the bug. I started looking for a 325/8 to get into it but then decided it would quickly end up with me wanting something more.

With all common sense out of the window I am now looking out of my window at the skyline parked on my drive, thanks Steve for denting my bank balance!

So ok - 2 questions, I know it's got an induction kit and exhaust, dump valve etc os that is visible and audible, I'm taking it up to Santa pod Wednesday so if anyone is around to give it a look over that would be great! I'm after advice on what mods would be best for it, I'm planning on using it as a road car too but not too much. Most sensible power mods, and mods to make it drift and road decent?

Any other advice for a newbie is also appreciated( ideally not advice that says buy a 325 first!)

Cheers!!

Hey mate, glad you seen sense lol

all I done to my skyline is remove hicas, coilovers, you need to sort some more lock out cos skylines are terrible :(

Fair play to you. Mainly spend your money on seat time though you will have plenty of power.

You are gonna wish you bought a bmw once you have smashed it into a wall though.

/\ Agree with that, using a Skyline as a starter car isn't the wisest move.

You don't need to do anything to it for your first day, as long as it's running well.
Just get down to pod and get some seat time.
