Drift training days - South East

Hi,

I'm wanting to learn to drift, I did a L2D tester session and although very brief it got me wanting to do more. I'd like to learn to drift my own car if possible (e46 m3).

Does anyone know if there are any places in the South East or within reasonable distance that offers training?

Cheers

The South East is a pretty large chunk of England dude. Where in SE are you?

Norfolk Arena is a good place to start i think
Santa Pod has more variety for different newb skill levels though.

I'm actually in Crawley, West Sussex. Is there anything within an hour or so of here do you think?

Flatout Factory offer one on one training in your own car. Currently they work out of Birmingham but you can book their instructors to give 1 on 1 tuition at practise days around the country, they can also arrange drift car hire at some venues like Santa Pods, DWYB events (not really relevant as you have an M3 though). I know that they will very shortly be announcing a southern training venue but that won't be for at least another 2 weeks before its defiantly confirmed :)

That's great! Thanks for letting me know.

I'm actually changing my tact after thinking I might end up wrecking the car, and now moving more towards renting the car also, so may open up a few more companies to use.

The only other school around the area is Drift Elite who are based at Throckmorton.

Nice open area nothing to hit or damage cars on thought it worth a mention.

ay? when was worcester in the south east?

You could try Driftlimits which is an airfield set up (like throckmorton). Do various packages in mx5s or m3s. Based in Bovingdon just off the M25.
